About the Role:
The Production Janitor Team Lead plays a critical role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient manufacturing environment at Reino Linen in Gibsonburg. This position is responsible for leading a team of janitorial staff to ensure all production areas meet stringent cleanliness and safety standards, directly supporting uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The Team Lead will coordinate daily cleaning schedules, monitor team performance, and implement best practices to optimize workflow and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations. Additionally, this role involves training new team members, managing supplies and equipment, and collaborating with production supervisors to address any facility-related concerns promptly. Ultimately, the Production Janitor Team Lead ensures that the manufacturing environment promotes productivity, safety, and quality standards essential to the company’s success.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience managing a team.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment operation.
- Ability to understand and follow safety regulations and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in industrial cleaning or facility maintenance.
- Experience with OSHA standards and compliance in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in scheduling and inventory management software.
- Ability to train and develop team members effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead the janitorial team to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across all production areas.
