What you’ll do as an Outreach Enrollment Specialist at HealthNet:
The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist provides education and enrollment assistance for uninsured and underinsured children and adults.
The Outreach & Enrollment Team is responsible for:
- Establishing community partnerships and increasing awareness of HealthNet and their services.
- Providing outreach and enrollment assistance for all uninsured individuals.
- Collaborating with other HealthNet departments/programs to facilitate in-reach efforts for existing patients.
- Receive and follow up on referrals (internal and external) in a timely manner.
- Identify, establish, and maintain ongoing relationships with individuals, groups, and organizations in the community to increase awareness of health insurance options and create referral opportunities.
- Participate in community events to promote the services of the Outreach Enrollment team as well as the HealthNet organization.
- Attend all required trainings.
When you’ll work as an Outreach Enrollment Specialist:
- Full-Time
- Potential schedule includes Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 8am-8pm, Friday 8am-1pm
Other tasks and functions may be assigned as needed to fulfill the mission of the organization.

What you’ll need as an Outreach Enrollment Specialist at HealthNet:
- Currently not sponsoring work visa.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Indiana Navigator Certification preferred but can be obtained after hiring.
- Knowledge in Medicaid, Affordable Care Act (ACA), HIP 2.0 a plus.
- False Claims Act (FCA) experience a plus.
- Knowledge of enrollment procedures.
- Driver’s License required.
- Reliable transportation required, required to travel to all health centers.

Physical Requirement:

- Able to lift, push, and/or pull light to moderately heavy weight up to 20-30 pounds is a necessary function of this position.
- Able to perform duties during periods of varied and/or prolonged work hours.
- Must be able to read, write, hear, and communicate effectively in the English language by both orally and written.
