Job Summary
The Customer Service Associate assists with store operations by providing excellent customer service, maintaining merchandise presentation, and supporting general store upkeep in alignment with HOT Goodwill's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities
The following duties are representative of the essential functions of this position. Additional duties may be assigned as operational needs require.
Customer Service & Store Operations
- Greets customers upon encounter and assists them in finding items and/or answering questions.
- Monitors and opens dressing rooms and restrooms, as needed.
- Cleans areas of the store, including restrooms.
Merchandising & Production
- Removes out-of-date items from display areas, including pulling wares and clothing.
- Maintains display areas, including special displays, racks, shelves, bins, and other areas displaying merchandise for sale.
- Puts merchandise, including wares and clothing, out on the sales floor.
- Hangs clothing in production, when needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but all educational backgrounds considered.
Minimum Requirements
- Up to one month of related experience or training may be acceptable, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to read the English language preferred.
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- Ability to create and maintain working relationships within a collaborative team environment.
- Customer service skills and the ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals and personalities.
- Proficiency in completing assignments independently and on time.
