The Manheim, PA location is currently seeking a self-motivated individual for a 2nd Shift Yard Worker position. This position will work (4) 10 hour days - either Mon-Thur or Tue - Fri.
Pay starting at $20 per hour - commensurate with experience. A shift differential of $1.00 will be in addition to the starting rate.
Responsibilities include:
- Moving work & materials about our property
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Identify steel gauges, tank sizes, and standard openings
- Learn stocking procedures and yard organization
- Read and understand basic tank drawings
- Ability to maneuver (back/park) tractor trailers
- Operate forklifts and small mobile cranes
- Operate overhead cranes
- Safely load and secure various loads
- Maintain a neat and organized work area
- Complete other tasks as assigned by foreman
Physical demands:
- Must be able to move materials around the property
- Applicant should be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
- Constant movement and use of limbs
- Requires coordination and stamina
