Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations, including workflow, staffing, and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with state Board of Pharmacy regulations, USP standards, and internal SOPs
- Oversee compounding, dispensing, and verification processes to ensure accuracy and safety
- Supervise, train, and evaluate pharmacists, technicians, and support staff
- Maintain inventory control, ordering, and proper storage of medications and supplies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries
- Collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy on operational improvements and strategic initiatives
- Address operational issues, incident reports, and quality assurance activities
Qualifications:
- Active Pharmacist license in good standing (state-specific as applicable)
- Minimum of 2–5 years of pharmacy experience; compounding experience preferred
- Prior leadership or management experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of 503A compounding regulations and USP guidelines
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
Work Environment:
- 503A non-sterile and/or sterile compounding pharmacy setting
- Fast-paced environment with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and teamwork
