- Assist with team logistics, including equipment, uniforms, music, competition preparation, and travel as assigned.
- Previous dance coaching, competitive dance, or collegiate/high school dance experience.
- Knowledge of jazz, kick, and competitive dance techniques.
- Ability to teach and demonstrate proper dance fundamentals and performance skills.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes and families.

SUMMARY: The Winter Season JV/B Dance Coach is responsible for leading and developing the Hopkins High School Junior Varsity and/or B-Squad Dance Team during the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) winter dance season. The coach will provide instruction in jazz, kick, and performance dance while fostering teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, leadership, and personal growth in a positive and inclusive environment.
