The Enrollment Specialist serves as the initial point of contact for prospective PACE Georgia participants and their representatives, guiding them through the enrollment process from first inquiry through program entry. This role is responsible for gathering demographic, medical, insurance, and financial information to determine eligibility; coordinating assessments, documentation, and Medicaid application support; and ensuring all deadlines and program requirements are met. The Enrollment Specialist builds and maintains positive relationships with prospective participants, families, referral sources, and Medicaid contacts, while partnering closely with the Interdisciplinary Team to facilitate communication, scheduling, and care plan development. Additional responsibilities include representing PACE Georgia at community presentations, health fairs, and outreach events to promote the program as a vital community resource.

A significant portion of the work is performed in a professional office environment, where the employee uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and copiers, and remains seated for extended periods while gathering information, completing documentation, and tracking enrollment activity in various computer programs. The role also requires regular travel into the community, including visits to prospective participants' homes, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and other care settings, as well as participation in community presentations, special events, health fairs, and trade shows. As a result, the employee will routinely move between indoor and outdoor environments, navigate unfamiliar locations, and adapt to a range of conditions that fall outside a controlled office setting.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach forward, and perform keyboard use or other repetitive motion, as well as pinching and other fine motor activities consistent with computer and documentation work. The employee is occasionally required to climb (e.g., stairs or ladders), push and pull, twist, bend, reach overhead, squat, kneel, or crawl, and may experience wrist position deviation. Driving and travel to participant homes, community settings, and outreach events are a regular part of this role.

The employee must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. from floor to waist and up to 10 lbs. at waist level and above. Sensory requirements for this position include accurate near vision, accurate far vision, accurate color discrimination, accurate depth perception, and accurate hearing. Anticipated occupational exposure risks for this position include bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, airborne communicable disease, extreme temperatures, radiation, uneven surfaces or elevations, extreme noise levels, and dust or particulate matter.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position working a 40 hour week, rotating days, evenings, or weekends, with occasional requests to work additional days/hours/holidays as needed.
