Duties
- Utilize RF scanners and barcode scanning technology to accurately pick and verify orders according to shipping specifications
- Operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Manage inventory levels using warehouse management systems (WMS), ensuring stock accuracy and proper storage practices
- Load and unload shipments, ensuring proper handling with manual lifting techniques and heavy equipment to prevent damage or injury
- Pack products securely for shipment, adhering to quality control standards and safety protocols
- Assist in shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and updating inventory records
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace following safety procedures and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) use guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management practices
- Skilled in order picking & packing, with attention to detail for accuracy and quality assurance
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safety protocols
- Familiarity with barcode scanning technology for logistics operations and inventory tracking
- Excellent understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, stock replenishment, and distribution workflows
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
- Prior warehouse supervisor experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
