Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electrical systems across various construction and renovation sites. Your expertise will ensure all work complies with safety standards and local electrical codes, contributing to the successful completion of projects that meet our high standards for quality and safety.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage controls.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools to identify issues efficiently.
- Ensure all work adheres to NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes.
- Conduct electrical wiring for renovation projects, new construction, and upgrades while following electrical safety procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other tradespeople to coordinate installation schedules and project timelines.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance records.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical blueprints, schematics, and blueprints reading comprehension.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage electrical wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and troubleshooting complex electrical issues.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards along with familiarity with local electrical codes.
- Construction site experience with renovation projects or new builds is highly desirable.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, testing equipment such as ohmmeters, and working safely within electrical safety procedures.
- Additional handyman or frame carpentry experience is a plus for versatile project support.
