Immaculata University invites applications for a full-time Nursing Clinical Coordinator. This role is responsible for the comprehensive coordination, organization, and oversight of undergraduate nursing student clinical and lab rotations and the procurement of necessary instructional faculty. The Coordinator serves as a vital liaison among the nursing program, healthcare partners, and regulatory bodies to ensure all clinical learning environments and faculty staffing meet program outcomes and Pennsylvania Board of Nursing (PA BON) requirements. The Clinical Coordinator collaborates with program leadership and clinical partners to facilitate student placements, maintain clinical affiliation requirements, and support the effective delivery of clinical education experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate undergraduate nursing student clinical and lab placements across affiliated healthcare agencies and clinical practice settings.
- Maintain clinical rotation schedules, placement records, and student assignment information.
- Collaborate with healthcare agencies to secure and confirm clinical placements that align with course and program objectives.
- Coordinate onboarding requirements for clinical placements including orientation schedules, agency-specific requirements, and access procedures.
- Assist in balancing student placements to ensure appropriate clinical capacity and learning opportunities.
- Serve as a primary contact between the nursing program and affiliated clinical agencies.
- Maintain positive working relationships with clinical partners, nurse managers, educators, and preceptors.
- Communicate program expectations, schedules, and placement needs to clinical agencies in a timely manner.
- Participate in meetings with healthcare partners regarding clinical education operations and partnership development.
- Assist with maintaining and monitoring clinical affiliation agreements, as directed.
- Collaborate with course faculty and program leadership regarding clinical scheduling, placement needs, and site-specific requirements.
- Assist students with clinical onboarding processes and provide guidance related to clinical placement expectations.
- Communicate clinical schedules, assignments, and updates to students and faculty.
- Address and escalate clinical placement concerns or scheduling conflicts, as appropriate.
- Support orientation activities for students entering clinical settings.
- Verify with the compliance coordinator that students assigned to clinical rotations meet institutional, agency, and PA Board of Nursing clinical compliance requirements prior to placement.
- Maintain accurate records related to clinical placements, agency requirements, and student assignments.
- Assist with preparation of reports and documentation for accreditation reviews, audits, and program evaluation activities.
- Ensure adherence to policies and standards established by clinical agencies, regulatory bodies, and accrediting organizations
- Assist with evaluating clinical site utilization and identifying opportunities for expanded partnerships.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to clinical education operations and processes.
- Perform additional duties related to clinical education coordination as assigned.
- Provides clinical site educators and students with materials, including division of nursing policies, information or clinical site orientation, address, contact person, phone numbers, and parking information
- Responsible for onboarding procedure for newly hired adjunct faculty
- Communicates with business office concerning certificates of insurance and affiliation agreements.
- Participate in Division of Nursing and campus events to support institutional goals and community engagement.
- Collaborate with the Division of Nursing (DON) Chair and the Assistant Director of Lab/Clinical to conduct regular site visits to evaluate the quality of clinical environments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Division Chair and Dean.

Job Requirements:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database or scheduling systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty, students, and healthcare partners.
Preferred Requirements:
- MSN in Nursing preferred, or willingness to obtain.
- Experience in nursing education, clinical instruction, or student placement coordination.
- Knowledge of undergraduate nursing clinical education requirements and accreditation standards.
- Experience working with healthcare systems and clinical affiliation processes. Familiarity with clinical scheduling or placement software systems.
