At Industrial Constructors/Managers (ICM), we don’t just build structures—we build the backbone of industry. With more than 40 years as an award-winning General Contractor, ICM is seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our Pueblo fabrication shop.
This role is essential to producing high-quality structural steel components and custom metalwork that support our industrial construction projects. What You’ll Do
· Read and interpret structural blueprints and shop drawings accurately.
· Layout, fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel components, grinding, hammering, chipping, cutting, bending, and straightening metal as required.
· Position, align, assemble, and weld parts to form complete assemblies, designing and
constructing templates and fixtures as needed.
· Perform flux core and solid wire welding according to project requirements.
· Perform precise measurements, marking, cutting, and bending.
· Operate shop equipment including shears, flame cutters, band saws, and drill presses in
a safe and precise manner.
· Consistently produce high-quality welds that meet company and industry standards,
conducting quality checks for accuracy in measurements, cuts and welds.
· Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What You’ll Bring
· Experience: Minimum three years related fabrication or welding experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Job Specific Skills: Ability to fabricate and weld structural steel; blueprint reading required.
· Certifications: Welding certification preferred or ability to become certifiable in Flux Core welding within 30 days of hire.
· Technical Skills: Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
· Equipment Skills: Forklift experience (certification preferred but not required).
· Attributes: Reliability, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety.
