Title: DOB Licensed Site Safety Manager
Project: Project at Bronx Community College.
Location: 161 West 180th Street, Bronx

Role and Responsibilities:

• The scope includes: Opening up the building envelope; New entrance and lobby off the corner of the building; Structural infill, steel, and metal decking; and adding an elevator and creating a lobby environment that leads to the existing ground floorDevelop, implement, and oversee site-specific safety plans in compliance with NYC DOB regulations.
• Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are clearly communicated and followed by all personnel on-site.
• Conduct and document daily safety inspections to identify potential hazards.
• Immediately address and correct unsafe conditions or practices.
• Maintain all required DOB documentation, including daily logs, incident reports, and inspection records.
• Coordinate and communicate with DOB inspectors and ensure site is always inspection-ready.
• Conduct safety orientation for all new workers and ensure appropriate certifications (e.g., OSHA, SST cards) are on file.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or other related field from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 7 years' experience in safety management of Major Capital Construction Projects, including Heavy Civil Construction.
• Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
• Working knowledge of construction safety standards, OSHA regulations, and all state and local regulations.
• Must have Construction Site Fire Safety Manager (S-56) license

New York City Equal Pay Disclaimer Infinite Consulting Corp carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's experience, education, and training. The estimated salary for this position is $60-70 per hour.
