About the Role
Infinity Energy is seeking an experienced Sales Operations Manager to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing the operational process after the sale, serving as the primary point of contact for our third-party sales (TPS) partners, and ensuring projects move efficiently from contract execution through Permission to Operate (PTO).
The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a strong understanding of the residential solar industry. Previous residential solar experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Manage residential solar projects from contract execution through PTO.
- Serve as the primary operational contact for third-party sales (TPS) partners, providing project updates and resolving issues.
- Coordinate with sales, permitting, engineering, procurement, scheduling, and installation teams to keep projects on track.
- Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve delays to ensure a smooth customer experience.
- Work with internal teams to manage permitting, inspections, interconnection, and PTO.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and customer records.
- Utilize CRM systems and solar lending platforms such as IGS, LightReach, or similar to manage project workflows.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, utility requirements, and local permitting regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and communication between sales and operations.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of residential solar experience is required.
- Experience in Sales Operations, Project Management, or Solar Operations within the residential solar industry.
- Strong understanding of the residential solar project lifecycle, including permitting, inspections, interconnection, and PTO.
- Experience working with third-party sales organizations (TPS) is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with financing platforms such as IGS, LightReach, GoodLeap, Mosaic, or similar is preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform is preferred.
