Job Duties
This position serves in an educational role and as a team leader, delivering educational programs to students, overseeing daily logistics and assisting with the development of educational programs using dialogic and inquiry-based methods for K–12th grade audiences. Additional responsibilities include the ability to supervise and mentor diverse staff, apply adult training methodologies, and evaluate programming.
Minimum Qualifications
- Knowledge of objectives, curricula, and operation of school systems and other educational institutions.
- Working knowledge of classroom teaching and /or museum education techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, revise and implement educational programs.
- Skilled in public speaking and leading group presentations.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a team member.
- Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced and changing work environment.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
- Knowledge acquired through coursework in history, anthropology, museum studies or education highly beneficial to this role.
