Job Description:
The Fundraising Events Coordinator plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and executing JFS’ signature fundraising events while supporting the agency’s overall development and marketing efforts. This position works collaboratively with staff, volunteers, committees, donors, and community partners to create engaging, mission-driven events that strengthen community support and advance fundraising goals. Responsibilities include managing event logistics, coordinating committee activities, maintaining the donor database, creating event marketing content, conducting outreach, and evaluating event success. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about building meaningful relationships while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality & Event Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or related field.
- Experience in non-profit organization
- Word, Outlook, Excel, Constant Contact and Donor Perfect is preferred
- Knowledge of mail merge, creating labels and envelopes a must
- Minimum 3 years of successful work including event coordination, public relations, database management, social media, preferred.
- Valid NJ Driver’s License required
