Available Shifts: 2nd (Mon - Fri, 2:45 PM-10:55 PM) or 3rd (Sun-Thurs, 10:45 PM-6:55 AM)
Starting Pay: $32.23/hour (for candidates with AAS degree, including shift differential).
Power Your Potential: Earn up to $40.70/hour by participating in our KawaTech Career Advancement program. Become a Team Leader and earn an additional $1.25/hour. 3rd shift pay differential is $1.25/hour.
Responsibilities of Maintenance Technician can include:
- Diagnose and repair defective equipment using prints, service manuals and parts catalogs
- Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools to perform precision machining operations
- Repair and maintain utilities and facility
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently
- Record repairs and maintenance performed, including other information such as time in service, parts used/needed and completion status. Communicating with other shifts as necessary, verbally or using computer templates
- Complete project assignments as requested with consideration to time, cost, quality constraints and expectations
- Perform duties and attend training as required for being a member of the Emergency Response Team
- Install and repair electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and pneumatic components and systems
- Align and secure proper holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines as requested
Required Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:
- Associates degree in Electro-mechanical field or related experience
- Ability to understand ladder logic, programming software, industrial programmable controllers, electrical power supplies, and computer control
- Experience in a manufacturing environment working with automated equipment, programmable controllers, electrical and electronic equipment trouble shooting, and repair of electrical and electronic equipment required
