Opening Summer 2026!
Kensington School is a full day private preschool with childcare for infants through pre-kindergarten aged children. With over 55 years of Early Childhood Education experience, our schools are created to give every child the very best first school experience.
Kensington School is seeking experienced Early Childhood Teachers and Teacher Assistants to join our teaching staff. We are a growing company and love to promote from within therefore we consistently have space for like-minded educators to join our team! We are opening our new city location this year!
Our West Loop location is expected to open summer 2026! We are currently hiring for all positions.
We recognize our faculty is made up of unique individuals, all of whom have strengths to offer our children. At Kensington School, you will have opportunities to share your passion, whether that be sports, science, arts, foreign language or math- or something else!

To be considered for a position, applicants must:
- Have experience with young children ages 0-5
- Enjoy spending time with young children!
- Have passion for teaching and caring for young children
- Have open availability to work a Full-Time schedule, Monday through Friday. These are full-time, ongoing twelve month positions.
- Meet DCFS position requirements
- Must have experience in an early childhood classroom and/or completed coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Lead Teachers earn an hourly rate of $24.
Teacher Assistants earn an hourly rate of $20.
Both Teachers and Teacher Assistants must commit to a full time position. Full time employees have access to a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401K, PTO, and paid CPR/First Aid training.
