Job Summary
The Key Account Manager will support the growth and development of L’Occitane at Sephora in the USA and Canada. The ideal candidate is sales-driven, detail-oriented, and a proactive team player. This role is responsible for supporting the Sephora business in alignment with L’Occitane’s brand vision and serving as a key advocate for the business with both internal and external stakeholders. Strong business acumen and the ability to work effectively with Sephora’s corporate support team is essential
Job Responsibilities
- Support the Sr. Sales Director in managing projects directly related to the Sephora USA and Canada business.
- Managing communication with Sephora related to assortment changes, new product intake forms, price changes, PDP asset submissions, stock callouts, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Process weekly sales reporting every Monday, including sales performance and product trend analysis recaps.
- Track and report on sell-in and sell-out performance.
- Analyze weekly inventory reports to support healthy weeks of supply and drive increased orders to support sell-out.
- Manage vendor setup and purchase order processing for merchandising, local activations, gratis, and sampling orders.
- Monitor sales performance and inventory trends to ensure forecasts remain accurate and aligned with the most current business and category trends.
- Track weekly purchase orders and ensure shipments are executed within the ship window; follow up on delays related to out-of-stocks, chargebacks, or PO discrepancies.
- Develop and maintain tools to support daily administrative tasks for the Sephora account, with a focus on improving Excel-based reporting and tracking systems.
- Partner with the Sr. Sales Director to coordinate the Field Sales Team in-store resources for store events and training programs to drive sell-out performance.
- Support the Sr. Sales Director in managing sampling initiatives, ratings and review programs, local market activations, and co-op campaigns.
- Assist the Sr. Sales Director in maintaining the marketing calendar, ensuring key dates, programs, and activations are current.
- Partner with the Sr. Sales Director and marketing team to coordinate creative briefs and execute merchandising requests.
- Conduct regular online site audits, including PDP page reviews and SKU updates.
- Assist with presentation planning for meetings and external presentations (e.g., Market meetings).
- Support additional requests from Wholesale team partners as needed.
- Provide ad hoc business support to the Sr. Sales Director as required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Achievement of P&L targets for Sephora USA and Canada, delivering both top-line growth and bottom-line profitability.
- Sustained sales growth across Sephora USA and Canada, aligned with the three-year plan.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with key Sephora stakeholders, supporting the Sales Director.
- Provide actionable insights and identify opportunities for improvement in daily account management operations.
- Effective ownership and execution of administrative tasks and projects, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and operational excellence.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required
Experience & Skills
- 5+ years of documented and quantifiable success in Wholesale Account management and development in a relevant consumer products industry (cosmetics, beauty, skincare, wellness).
- Sephora experience preferred.
- Proven track record in sales, account management, and business development within the premium beauty industry.
- Strong business acumen and deep knowledge of the beauty sector.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated.
- Collaborative team player with a supportive management style.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to identify and act on growth opportunities.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and strong skills in Word and PowerPoint.

The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 - $100,000. Exact compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, experience, skills and geographic location. In addition to annual salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program.
