Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join the Data Center, Power, and Control Team in Reno, NV. We are seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Compliance Analyst to support product compliance administration for Server Technology hardware products across global markets (U.S./Canada/EU/UK/APAC). In this role, you will maintain and manage regulatory compliance data, working closely with engineers to ensure products meet applicable market access requirements and can be efficiently introduced into and sustained within target regions.
You will support safety and EMC certifications, coordinate third‑party lab engagements, and maintain technical documentation required for regulatory approvals, customer requests, and internal use. This role will also involve tracking and interpreting evolving regulatory requirements, supporting product registrations, and ensuring documentation is accurate.
Additionally, you will partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve compliance issues that could impact product launch timelines or market availability. Success in this role requires experience supporting compliance for manufactured electrical or mechanical products, strong documentation discipline, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and attention to detail in a fast-paced, market-driven environment.
What Will You Do?
- Maintain compliance data for products and components in databases/repositories, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and easy retrieval.
- Perform risk checks on new and existing designs by gathering inputs, identifying potential compliance concerns, and escalating issues to compliance/engineering partners.
- Collect, validate, and organize supplier declarations and materials data to support environmental compliance and Legrand Environmental Material Requirements (EMR).
- Assist with packaging waste / EPR, WEEE, and EU SCIP activities, including data collection, registrations, periodic reporting, and record retention (as applicable).
- Respond to customer and internal compliance documentation requests.
- Track compliance obligations and due dates (renewals, surveillance activities, recurring customer requests) and follow up with stakeholders to ensure on-time completion.
- Produce periodic, routine compliance reports (status summaries, trackers, data extracts, basic metrics) to support internal stakeholders.
- Maintain audit‑ready compliance documentation and evidence (e.g., certificates, test reports, declarations, technical files) with strong document control and retention practices.
- Support engineering changes (ECOs) and lifecycle/document updates by checking for compliance impacts, updating documentation, and ensuring required evidence is refreshed prior to release.
- Support safety and EMC certification maintenance by preparing submission packages, organizing evidence, and coordinating renewal/factory surveillance activities.
- Coordinate third‑party lab engagements: request quotes, schedule testing, manage sample preparation/shipping, and confirm test requirements and timelines.
- Review lab reports and certification documents for completeness and accuracy; document gaps and coordinate corrections with labs and internal teams.
- Manage equipment repository, samples and basic test logistics (tracking, labeling, readiness for external testing; support internal qualifications and evaluations where applicable).
- With guidance from Compliance Engineers, monitor and research emerging global regulations and perform preliminary risk analyses.
- Identify opportunities to improve templates, trackers, and databases that reduce rework and improve turnaround time - then help implement those improvements with the team.
- Promote positive company relations by projecting a courteous, helpful attitude and assisting colleagues when appropriate.
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and support continuous improvement activities; Meet challenges with resourcefulness; Generate suggestions for improving work; Develop innovative approaches and ideas.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in quality, Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Environmental Policy, Engineering or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Experience:
- No prior professional experience required; relevant internship, co-op, or academic experience preferred.
Preferred:
- Strong aptitude in learning new requirements quickly and applying analytical, documentation, and cross-functional coordination skills to track compliance-related needs, support partner/supplier collaboration, and streamline workflows through data and automation a must.
- Data center environment familiarity: understanding of data center power distribution principles a plus.
- Knowledge of electronic manufacturing processes and supply chain flows in an ISO 9001 organization experience a plus.
- Familiarity with key environmental & market-access framework: RoHS/REACH, PFAS, WEEE, packaging EPR, CE/UKCA, NRTL, FCC/ICES a plus.
- Environmental compliance support, including supplier declarations and substance/material reporting experience a plus.
- Coordination with third‑party labs and certification bodies (test planning, submissions, report review/interpretation) experience a plus.
- Proficiency with enterprise PLM tools to manage product/compliance data and change records preferred.
