Position Number: S98150
This position is a Grade: 10 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $67,270-$81,830 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications.
Key Accountabilities
Reporting to the Head Coach, you'll play a hands-on role across every dimension of the wrestling program, including:
- Delivering technically sound, athlete-centred coaching across practice, competition, and individual skill development
- Identifying, evaluating, and recruiting prospective student-athletes who meet Lehigh's rigorous academic and competitive standards
- Supporting student-athlete development through academic monitoring, personal mentorship, and transition programming
- Providing academic support and early intervention to help student-athletes meet university eligibility and graduation requirements
- Contributing to program advancement activities, including alumni engagement, community outreach, and donor relations
- Assisting with day-to-day program administration including scheduling, travel coordination, and budget management
- Ensuring all activities are conducted in full compliance with NCAA rules, Patriot League guidelines, and Lehigh University policies
- Advancing the broader mission of the Athletics Department by modelling the values of integrity, accountability, and excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field; Master's Degree preferred
- One to three years of work related experience
- Experience as a student athlete
- NCAA Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- A working knowledge of NCAA recruiting regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to build trust with student-athletes and support their academic as well as athletic progress
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills suited to a collaborative staff environment
