Clinician, ProjectLIFE (Living In Freedom From Exploitation) Program - BBS Registered
Position Summary
Lifeline Community Services is hiring a Clinician to support our growing team. You will be responsible for 24/7 emergency response to law enforcement, crisis interventions and intensive clinical case management. This is a master's level and BBS registered clinical role that will help our team provide trauma informed, evidence based interventions to survivors of human trafficking.
We're looking for excellent communication and problem solving skills. This role requires positive attitude, integrity, confidence, creativity and reliability, since your day-to-day work will be managing a caseload and working with the team to further develop the program and ensure high quality services to clients.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work or related field with a minimum of one year case management experience.
- Must be registered with BBS (AMFT, APCC, ACSW, LMFT, LCSW)
- Ability to work from a client centered, trauma, and dual diagnosis approach
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and on a team
Responsibilities
- Conduct and complete initial intake, safety screening, safety planning, and needs assessment for all clients.
- Provide victim advocacy and information about crime victims' rights and services while supporting the victim through the process.
- Maintain accurate case records and program statistics in compliance with funding requirements and objectives.
- Conduct human trafficking awareness trainings and outreach for community groups and service providers, as needed.
- Use the code of ethics (AMFT, ACSW, LMFT, LCSW) to guide decision making and conduct in the workplace.
- Facilitate prevention groups for at-risk youth populations.
- Co-Facilitate survivor-led HT support groups, therapeutic and/or skills building groups
- Transport clients and accompany clients when applicable to their case plan
- Retain client caseload and seek consultation for engagement strategies
- Completes other duties as assigned.
Schedule/Compensation
- FT - Exempt Position
- Monday- Friday, normal business hours (will include a minimum of one evening per week and occasional weekends per program needs)
- $71,760 - $78,936 Salary will commensurate with experience and education. Differential pay offered for bilingual skills. EEO.
Additional Requirement
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation with a good driving record.
- Willing to use own, properly insured, reliable vehicle for the job (mileage reimbursed).
- Employment subject to clearances, including background finger printing checks, driving record, tuberculosis testing, and drug testing.
