JOB SUMMARY:
Takes direction from Supervisor or Lead to accomplish set goals. Responsible for monitoring the merchandise being received into the complex, notifying appropriate staff of deliveries, and ensuring that all safety procedures and policies are being followed.? ??
DIMESNSIONS: WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to walk or stand for entire shift.
Ability to work in cool temperatures.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Oversee receiving and other warehouse processes and personnel to make sure work meets quality standards and is performed according to established procedures.
Receive shipments and sign for deliveries upon receipt.
Assist in training of co-workers as directed.
Inspect contents to ensure they are undamaged and unload items from incoming trucks.
Label deliveries and allocate them to appropriate storage area.
Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
Report daily and period end inventory to accounting.
Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries.
Ensure compliance with established food safety programs, including HACCP programs, SSOPs and GMPs.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Attend meetings and trainings as required.
All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of two years’ receiving experience in a manufacturing environment.
