Turkey Hill Elementary School129 Northfield Road, Lunenburg, MA 01462GENERALThe successful candidate will have the knowledge/skills/ability to work collaboratively with school personnel in providing, implementing, designing and/or adapting instruction while also creating, supervising and running individual programs for students in a small group setting.A primary focus of this position will be the establishment of a positive learning environment that promotes a high level of achievement for students while considering the background and developmental level of the individual student, and helping to transition them from the smaller group environment into mainstreamed settings as much as possible. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTSExperience with ABA programming recommendedAppropriate Massachusetts Educator License requiredAttendance at the New Teacher Orientation/Induction is requiredThree years of teaching experience, preferred.Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with administration and team members.Strong communications skills; verbal and non-verbal.OTHERSalary and benefits per Lunenburg Education Association contract.Hiring is subject to satisfactory CORI and SAFIS Background Checks per 603 CMR 51.
