WI CNC Field Service Technician
Position Description
Machinery Systems, Inc., a leading Midwest CNC machine tool distributor with a 49-year history, is seeking a CNC Field Service Technician.
The Field Service Technician will travel to customer locations primarily throughout Wisconsin and Western Michigan, while also travelling to our Illinois and Indiana clients from time to time. The Field Service Technician's primary responsibilities will be to troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical aspects of a wide range of Mazak standard machine tool products.
Requirements
- Preferred minimum of 2 years in a machine tool repair position with an end user, distributor, or builder of CNC machines or similar experience. MSI is willing to work with and train prospective candidates that possess strong mechanical skills / aptitude and have a willingness to learn.
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent knowledge of both mechanical and electrical areas of repair of CNC machine tools or related fields.
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter and possess a good work ethic.
- A strong customer service orientation, flexible to adjust to customer demands, and have effective communication skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and knowledge of PLC's is desirable.
- Must hold and maintain an unrestricted driver's license.
