Laboratory - Clinical Laboratory Assistant - (FT)
Madisonhealth is seeking a Laboratory Assistant, the Laboratory Assistant performs such duties as specimen collection, specimen processing, laboratory test ordering, and performance of waived testing under the supervision of a Medical Laboratory Scientist. The Laboratory Assistant is responsible to produce accurate and reliable data. They work collaboratively with the laboratory team to ensure efficient operations and contribute to the collection and release of valid results.

Required Skills:
- Demonstrate sound judgment, patience and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment.
- Organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Training, certification and/or experience in Phlebotomy.
- Computer skills: Electronic medical records software and laboratory information systems.
- Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
- Creativity, problem analysis, and decision making.
- Ability to work varied shifts.
Minimum Work Experience:
- Minimum of one year experience, preferred.
Minimum Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Phlebotomy training required - certification preferred.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
