The Contract Analyst will support analytics for all hospital spend; understanding and supporting all spend requirements and working closely with supply chain leadership to identify opportunities for spend optimization and savings; Taking part in all aspects of the contracting process and assisting with continuous alignment of procurement on contract spending.

Responsibilities:

• Performs financial & clinical analysis utilizing EMR and purchase order systems
• Completes savings analytics for product conversions & standardizations
• Performs comparative analysis on utilization including benchmarking & clinician deviation
• Monitors contract lifecycle from inception providing and creating process enhancements (Contract Calendar)
• Management of GPO partnership to achieve goals
• Performs price discrepancy resolution and improve process flow
• Meets with vendors to review and negotiate possible savings opportunities
• Performs market share analysis and presents opportunities for standardization
• Monitors supply chains and provides information and mitigation strategies for supply disruptions
• Assists in procurement of medical supplies including sourcing products and services requesting quotes, and other functions as needed within the team
• Reviews capital quotes and compare to current benchmarks, request updated quotes and negotiates where applicable.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.

Experience:

5+ years of relevant supply chain experience, or similar.

Skills:

Speaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position; knowledge of a second language preferred.

Advanced analytical skills utilizing Microsoft Suite.
