Position:
Makovicka Physical Therapy is seeking energetic, growth-oriented athletic trainer to work with student athletes and in our outpatient clinics. As an athletic trainer you will work in a friendly and engaging environment to help you provide the highest quality of care to our patients. You will be responsible for patient-centered evaluation and treatment for injury and illness under the direction of a licensed physician. Provide on-site athletic training services for sporting competition and events as needed and implement injury prevention programs with student athletes. You will work with a dynamic, team oriented staff that provides outstanding care through comprehensive and customized therapy.
We are looking for applicants who are:
- Dedicated and passionate about all age athletes
- Driven to provide every athlete a thorough treatment and/or injury prevention plan
- Communicate with coaches, parents, athletic director and other health care professionals regarding status of injured athletes
- Detail oriented
- Strong problem solvers
- Committed to working with a team
- Motivated to continue their education and progress professionally
- Strong at multi-tasking and strive to complete required paper work accurately and efficiently
- Energized by working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic
