WHAT IS THE JOB?
As a Tailor in our Atlanta shop, you will work closely with the Tailor ShopAlterations Manager to ensure the proper fit, marking, altering, and pressing of garments. This is an hourly nonexempt position.
WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Perform quality alterations on different categories of garments at HQ locations.
- Operate industrial sewing machinery and meet productions deadlines.
- Prepare garments for customer delivery.
WHAT ARE THE ESSENTIAL SKILLS?
- Two years of experience in men's and women's alterations.
- Thorough knowledge of basic machines.
- Proficient in sewing and making garments.
- Knowledge of fabrics and clothing.
- Organization and time management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication.
- Exceptional customer service.
- Detail oriented.
