Job Description:
Working Hours: 15 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $65.00
- Works with college departments on purchasing, bidding, and contracting needs in a strategic sourcing/supply management setting
- Maintains compliance with college and Commonwealth of Massachusetts rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to the purchase of goods and services including construction procurement
- Assist with college procurement card program management and program improvement projects
- Provide consultation on the management of college comprehensive insurance program, and other insurance related matters, that centrally address issues including Educators Legal Liability, Directors and Officers, Automobile, Foreign Liability, Employee Dishonesty, and Fine Arts needs
- Assist with fixed assets including database management to track the purchase, transfer, and disposition of college assets including capital construction projects
- Provides leadership for procurement modernization projects
- Other special projects as assigned by the Executive Director of Administrative Services, Vice President of Administration and/ or Chief Business Officer
Requirements:
- A minimum of ten years full-time senior level experience in administration, purchasing, accounting, or a related field.
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Knowledge of Commonwealth's procurement policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of integrated ERP modules and reporting.
- Ability to identify customer service needs and operationally implement appropriate programs and standards.
- Demonstrated communication, management, presentation and leadership skills appropriate to the position.
