- Process new hires, terminations, pay changes, deductions, and garnishments.
- Respond to employee payroll questions professionally and timely.
- Maintain confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
- Assist with payroll audits and reporting.
- Support HR and Accounting with payroll-related tasks.
- Learn payroll processes and company procedures under the guidance of senior payroll staff.
- Verify timesheets and assist with routine payroll reconciliations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Maintain all weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual and annual reporting requirements on all jobs across one or more payrolls.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn payroll laws and regulations.
- Strong customer service mindset.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Accounting, Business, or Human Resources preferred.
- 0–2 years of payroll, accounting, or administrative experience.
- Experience with Paycom or similar HRIS/payroll software preferred but not required.
