Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled, compassionate, and patient-centered Basic Machine Operator/Medical Assistant to join our perioperative team in a busy office-based urology surgery center. The Basic Machine Operator / Medical Assistant is a hybrid clinical role that supports both direct patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Essential Job Functions:
- Perform Basic Machine Operator duties related to diagnostic imaging as assigned
- Support providers during patient exams, procedures, treatments, and imaging services
- Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare them for physician visits
- Take vital signs and obtain a brief reason for the visit
- Assist physicians with examinations and simple in-office procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Support both front-office and back-office clinical operations
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow strict HIPAA compliance standards
- Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations
Required
- CPR certified
- Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO)
Education:
- Required High School or Equivalent;
- Certified MA (Preferred)
Experience:
- Medical/urology office experience: 1 year (Preferred)
Pay: $23.93 - $28.82 per hour
