Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with 3–6 years of litigation support, forensic accounting, economic damages, and/or insurance claims experience to join our growing practice. The successful candidate will assist clients, expert witnesses, and consulting professionals in analyzing complex financial issues arising from commercial disputes (e.g., partnerships and contract disputes, etc.), insurance disputes, fraud investigations, and other litigation-related engagements.
This position offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced testifying experts, attorneys, insurance carriers, and corporate clients on high-profile disputes involving financial damages, lost profits, lost wages, business interruption, and forensic investigations.
Candidates with property/casualty, business interruption, subrogation, commercial claims, or other insurance claims experience are preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Litigation Support & Damages Analysis
- Analyze financial records, tax returns, payroll data, accounting records, bank statements, and business documents.

Assist in the quantification of:
- Lost profits
- Lost wages and earning capacity
- Business interruption losses
- Partnership and shareholder disputes
- Contract disputes
- Fraud and forensic accounting matters
- Review pleadings, discovery responses, deposition testimony, expert reports, and other case documents.
- Support the preparation of expert reports, rebuttal reports, damages models, and demonstrative exhibits.
- Assist with economic and financial analyses used in mediation, arbitration, and trial.
Discovery & Case Support
- Organize, summarize, and analyze large document productions.
- Identify key financial and operational facts relevant to damages claims.
- Assist attorneys with document requests, interrogatories, and discovery strategy.
- Prepare chronologies, damages summaries, and case dashboards.
Financial Analysis
- Develop and maintain financial models using Excel.
- Perform trend analyses, lost profits calculations, wage-loss analyses, and business valuation-related procedures.
- Research industry, labor market, compensation, and economic data.
- Evaluate opposing expert analyses and identify methodological weaknesses.
Client & Expert Support
- Participate in meetings with attorneys, clients, and experts.
- Assist with deposition preparation and trial support.
- Prepare clear and concise workpapers that can withstand expert and litigation scrutiny.
- Communicate findings effectively to both financial and non-financial audiences.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.

3–6 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following:
- Litigation support
- Forensic accounting
- Economic damages
- Insurance claims
- Business valuation
- Public accounting with dispute-related experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
- CPA, CFE, CVA, ABV, or progress toward professional certification.
- Experience supporting testifying experts.
- Experience with commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, contract disputes, or lost wages claims.

Insurance industry experience, particularly:
- Business interruption
- Property losses
- Commercial claims
- Subrogation
- Coverage disputes
- Catastrophe or loss consulting
- Familiarity with financial statement analysis, tax returns, and damages methodologies.

Determining actual compensation relies on many factors including individual candidate experience, qualifications, and comparable benchmarks. Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $120,000 and $150,000.
