About Us:
Mind and Motion is a provider-owned multidisciplinary group practice that specializes in treating primarily kids with developmental and communication disorders. Our treatment teams are comprised of psychologists, counselors, neurotherapists, and other allied health professionals with a goal to provide a more comprehensive, holistic, and evidenced-based approach to therapy. We are the only group in the area providing this variety of clinical services all in one location!
Working with us will allow you to create and have your own flexible schedule. There are opportunities for advancement, clinical support and mentorship!
Must be currently licensed in Georgia. New grads and experienced clinicians are welcome to apply as we offer supervision and mentorship. Must demonstrate an ability to work with families and caregivers to incorporate therapeutic techniques into the interests and routines of the family. Must have the ability to evaluate and treat disorders and delays that affect our patient’s ability to perform daily activities.
Duties:
- Evaluate and treat children with developmental and physical disorders.
- Complete and submit accurate documentation for all corresponding treatments provided (SOAP notes, Evaluations, & Plan of Cares).
- Participate in monthly case management meetings to review goals and therapeutic progress your patients are making with other clinical disciplines/teams.
- Work under supervision of the Allied Health Team Manager.
- Work in close relationship with the administrative team to provide high quality, administrative customer service.
- Work within the clinic’s existing business solutions and add value to these resources.
- Abide by all confidentiality requirements.
- Act in a manner conducive to the role that is being conferred during this agreement in accordance with the values and mission of the company.
Skills
- Expertise in pediatric physical therapy techniques
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and disorders
- Experience with neurodevelopmental treatment (NDT)
- Proficiency in gait training and mobility interventions
- Ability to design and implement individualized treatment plans
- Familiarity with adaptive equipment and assistive technology
- Manual therapy techniques for children
- Understanding of sensory integration therapy
- Experience with therapeutic exercises for strength and coordination
- Knowledge of orthopedic and neurological conditions in children
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams (OTs, SLPs, educators, etc.)
- Family-centered approach to therapy
- Cultural competence and ability to work with diverse populations
