Responsibilities:
The HR Generalist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process while supporting a broad range of HR functions including employee relations, benefits, performance management and compliance. This position is a key part in attracting, selecting and onboarding top talent, while ensuring alignment with MACF’s goals, policies and compliance requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Manage full-cycle recruitment (job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding).
Travel within the State to conduct onboarding with new staff.
Partner with HR Director to identify staffing needs and develop recruitment strategies.
Create and post job advertisements on various platforms (job boards, social media, company website).
Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews (as appropriate).
Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers/supervisors
Conduct reference checks and initiate fingerprint process.
Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS/Payroll system data accuracy.
Assist with employee relations, including responding to employee inquiries and resolving issues.
Support performance management process.
Assist with policy development and compliance with labor laws.
Support benefit administration and open enrollment processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. At least two (2) years of HR experience, with a strong emphasis on recruitment. Must be able to pass a background check.
