Join our mission
We're proud to work with many incredible companies, accelerating their ability to build their products.
We've spent years watching talented engineering teams lose momentum to the same frustrating bottleneck: waiting. Waiting for CI to finish. Waiting for builds to complete. Waiting for tests to run.
After experiencing this pain firsthand at companies of every size, we set out to build the developer infrastructure platform we'd always wanted to use. Something that would seamlessly integrate with our workflows and the tools teams already love—but make everything dramatically faster and more cost-effective.
Today, we're already accelerating hundreds of companies around the world, helping them ship features instead of waiting for infrastructure. We've built something that feels almost magical in its simplicity: change your runs-on line, mount your toolchain cache directory and suddenly your builds are 5x faster.
About the role
We're looking for a Finance Lead to own and build out the finance function at Namespace as we scale.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can connect the day-to-day financial operations of the business with a clear view of where we're going. You'll own budgeting, forecasting, cash and runway planning, and financial reporting, while helping us understand the economics behind our infrastructure investments and business.
You will be working closely with our leadership team on hardware investments, leasing, unit economics and planning ahead. You'll also coordinate our external accountants and other finance partners and continuously improve the systems and processes behind how we manage the business.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable operating in a fast-moving startup, enjoys building things from the ground up, and can move easily between financial models, operational details, and strategic decisions.
Our culture
We're looking for people with grit—people who push through ambiguity, take ownership, and keep going when things get hard. You're deeply curious, driven to understand how things work and how they can be improved. Most importantly, you have a strong bias to execution: you don't wait for perfect conditions, you ship, learn, and iterate quickly. If you care about building, moving fast, and making real impact, you'll fit right in.
What you'll do
Own budgeting, forecasting, and cash and runway planning
Build and maintain financial models that give us a clear view of company performance and future scenarios
Own financial reporting and provide leadership with clear visibility into performance, spend, and key financial metrics
Develop a strong understanding of our cost structure, unit economics, and profit margins
Model the economics of hardware and infrastructure investments, including purchasing, financing, and leasing
Partner with leadership on major financial and investment decisions
Manage and coordinate external accountants, tax advisors, and other finance partners across the countries where we operate
Own and continuously improve our financial processes, controls, and systems as the company scales
What we're looking for
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
Experience working in a startup or similarly fast-moving environment, ideally helping build or scale a finance function
Experience with hardware, infrastructure, or lease management
Strong understanding of cost structures, unit economics, and margin analysis
Experience managing accountants and external finance partners
You can translate financial data into clear insights and recommendations for leadership
You’re comfortable digging into the details while keeping the bigger financial picture in mind
You’re highly organized and able to manage multiple financial workstreams and deadlines
You enjoy taking ownership, building processes, and solving problems hands-on
You’re comfortable operating with ambiguity and creating structure where it doesn’t exist yet
You can expect:
Competitive salary and stock options
Flexible working hours
Market-leading parental leave
Life at Namespace Labs:
We pride ourselves in being a small team of experts that can achieve a lot.
We balance our long-term vision with short-term pragmatism.
We believe in being fully transparent internally on how decisions are made, on how the company is doing, and we use that information to drive our decisions.
Compensation Range: $190K - $250K
