MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
High School Diploma or GED Certificate
Bachelor's Degree or Vocational/Specialized Training
5-7 years' experience in Project Coordination
5 - 7 years' experience in Project Management
Valid Driver's License (subject to motor vehicle review)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Ensures customer complaints and problem issues are addressed and resolved.
Administers project, establishes written processes, and ensures scope of work is accomplished in coordination with internal and external customers.
Assist with the development of policies and procedures, standard operating procedures and design standards and/or specification for NTUA.
Provides project status reports to NTUA Management.
Provides guidance and assistance to NTUA internal customers with developing projects, defining scope of work, deliverables, establishing schedules, budgets, and task. Participates in project and team meetings, functional and business requirements.
Tracks and manages projects from initiation to completion, identifying and resolving projects issues, problems and changes resulting in successful completed projects.
Formulates capital and O&M budgets and monitors costs on an ongoing basis and develops budget and allocates funds to accomplish objects; monitors project budgets; plans for personnel and equipment needs for each project; and provides documentation to support budget needs and changes.
Organizes, communicates and manages relevant project plans, address primary projects issues, prioritize initiatives and ensure timely implementation and completion.
Performs database management functions. Mentor projects team with project processes and ensures prompt work order closeout and analysis of projects cost. Makes recommendations on standard cost adjustments.
Monitors work orders to ensure accuracy and assist in correction of errors.
Identifies, sets up and executes report to provide statistical information in support of strategic and tactical decision making by management.
Work with personnel responsible for the entry of statistical data capital projects to ensure processes are followed and fields get populated properly and in a timely fashion.
Monitors and reports to management those projects which reflect out of the ordinary cost and duration in the characteristics so that management can focus on corrective actions.
Working with work orders reporting to develop appropriate tactical and strategic report information for management decision making.
Represents District Manager at meetings with customers, consultants and contractors.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
