Job Description
The Salesforce Product Manager is a key contributor on the Studio Distribution Tech Ops team, supporting Salesforce and adjacent platforms used by Global TV Distribution. This role partners with business stakeholders, engineering, vendors, and technical teams to translate business needs into prioritized product enhancements, support roadmap planning, and help drive adoption of new capabilities.
The position requires strong Salesforce knowledge, product thinking, business process analysis, and clear communication across business and technical teams. The role helps manage backlog priorities, product discovery, requirements definition, stakeholder communication, delivery coordination, and production support trends across assigned platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain the product roadmap for Salesforce and adjacent business applications supporting Global TV Distribution, including release planning and prioritization.
- Serve as a product manager and subject matter expert for assigned platforms, providing guidance on capabilities, enhancements, and operational needs.
- Develop a strong understanding of business processes, user needs, and operational priorities to identify practical platform improvements.
- Partner with stakeholders to define product goals, success measures, and prioritization criteria tied to business value.
- Lead product discovery activities, including stakeholder interviews, process analysis, data review, and documentation of user needs.
- Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing roadmap initiatives, production support, technical debt, risk, and user experience improvements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, architects, and technical partners to clarify requirements, review solution options, and support delivery.
- Ensure product decisions consider scalability, maintainability, security, compliance, and integration requirements.
- Support stakeholder communication, change management, training, and user adoption for new or updated capabilities.
- Review adoption, usage, production support trends, and recurring enhancement requests to evaluate outcomes and recommend future product improvements.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or technology delivery for enterprise applications.
- 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform experience.
- Experience supporting product roadmaps, backlog prioritization, release planning, and product lifecycle activities.
- Experience translating business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and delivery-ready work items.
- 5+ years of experience working within SDLC and Agile delivery processes.
- Working knowledge of IT project delivery methods, including Agile/Scrum and Waterfall, with experience using tools such as Jira.
- Experience partnering with business stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, and technical partners to deliver platform enhancements.
- Experience supporting production applications, including issue triage, stakeholder communication, enhancement intake, and prioritization.
- Ability to assess business impact, identify risks, and recommend practical solution options.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with business, product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.
- Ability to manage competing priorities across roadmap work, production support, stakeholder requests, and delivery timelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Desired Characteristics:
- One or more Salesforce certifications.
- Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Data 360, Agentforce, or related Salesforce platform capabilities.
- Experience defining success measures, adoption metrics, or operational KPIs for enterprise technology products.
- Experience with Media and Entertainment, studio-based TV Distribution, sales operations, finance systems, or content distribution workflows.
- Experience using BI tools, Salesforce reports, SQL, or SOQL to analyze data and inform product decisions.
- Experience creating process flows, wireframes, mockups, or other artifacts that clarify user needs and solution direction.
- Familiarity with data architecture, integration patterns, data warehouse concepts, or ETL/middleware tools.
- Experience working with distributed or international project teams.
Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
