Job Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist supports full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts across a wide range of business functions, including skilled trades, warehouse/operations, transportation/logistics, technical, and professional office roles. As part of the Employee Experience team, this role approaches recruitment differently than a traditional transactional HR function by focusing on relationship-building, partnership, candidate experience, and long-term team success — not just filling openings.
This role acts as a partner to hiring managers and leadership to understand operational needs, workforce challenges, and team dynamics in order to attract and hire the right talent while providing thoughtful guidance and support throughout the process. The role is responsible for sourcing candidates, managing applicant pipelines, coordinating interviews, supporting onboarding efforts, and creating a positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams from first contact through onboarding. This position thrives in a collaborative, onsite, fast-paced environment where professionalism, confidentiality, adaptability, and a team-first mindset are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruitment processes for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring coordination, offer support, and onboarding activities
Recruit for a variety of positions and talent levels, including skilled trades, warehouse/operations, transportation/logistics, technical, and professional office roles
Partner closely with hiring managers and leadership to understand staffing needs, operational challenges, workforce priorities, and team fit requirements
Source and engage candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, direct outreach, and other recruiting strategies
Conduct candidate interviews and guide hiring teams through selection, hiring, and onboarding processes while ensuring a positive candidate and hiring manager experience
Maintain accurate recruitment activity, candidate records, and onboarding documentation within applicant tracking systems (ATS), HR systems, and workflow tools, including UKG, Jira, and ClickUp
Monitor recruiting pipelines, hiring activity, and process effectiveness to support reporting, continuous improvement efforts, and hiring efficiency
Ensure recruiting, hiring, onboarding, I-9, and E-Verify practices remain compliant with state and federal employment regulations
Represent the organization at career fairs, recruiting events, orientations, and community outreach initiatives as needed
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, strong communication, and a collaborative, team-first approach in a fast-paced onsite environment
