As a Structured Cabling Installer, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians while learning the fundamentals of structured cabling installations, tools, materials, safety practices, and industry standards. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, takes pride in quality workmanship, and is committed to developing the skills needed to advance into a technician role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist with structured cabling installations under the direction of experienced technicians.
- Learn to identify different cable types, materials, and installation requirements.
- Assist with basic cable installation and begin developing termination skills.
- Learn proper identification and usage of industry tools and equipment.
- Support cable pathway preparation, pulling, routing, and organization.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing housekeeping duties.
- Follow NCS quality standards and installation procedures.
- Safely operate company vehicles for business purposes as assigned.
- Represent NCS professionally while interacting with customers, team members, and project partners.
- Follow all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a strong focus on quality.
- Provide excellent customer service through professional communication and teamwork.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel to job sites as needed.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the structured cabling industry.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
