Description
This position is responsible for internal and external event booking, site selection, resource coordination, and managing the life cycle of events. This position will accommodate Campus Space Scheduling and Events.
Examples of Duties
Campus Space Scheduling
- Monitor, book and manage Mazevo for campus wide space programming including coordination with IT (Audio/Visual), Facilities Management, Dining services and campus safety and student worker staff to prepare venue for events.
- Monitor and respond to the Events@ncf.edu inbox, (in conjunction with our event coordinator)
- Provide tours of NCF spaces
- Prepare contracts
- Manage the life-cycle of external events such as weddings
Serve as liaison between external clients and internal campus departments, ensuring all college policies regarding facility use are strictly followed.
- Collaborate with the Facilities and Grounds departments to ensure the campus, lawns, and historic buildings are pristine for weekend ceremonies and receptions
Schedule and supervise event staff, student workers, and temporary custodial crews.
Manager of the campus venue for weddings on the “day of” to ensure the building mechanics are functioning, the property is being respected and is left in impeccable condition after the event has ended.
This role requires you to be the last one to leave at the end of the night, taking responsibility for the condition of the building after an event.

- Ability to work a highly flexible schedule, including frequent evenings and weekends during peak wedding season
