Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Proficient in designing and developing maintainable, modular software components in Java, Python, Springboot and as applicable
- Writes optimized, reusable, and scalable code that follows SOLID//equivalent principles.
- Build application components applying multi-threading, concurrency models, asynchronous programming principles.
- Gaining deeper understanding of company products, services, and operational workflows
- Works under supervision but starts taking ownership of tasks and troubleshooting issues independently
- Expand Skills in best practices, scalability, reliability, and automation.
- Develops a solid understanding of how engineering choices impact business outcomes, such as performance, cost, and user experience
- Proactively engages in problem-solving and proposes suitable solutions
- Works effectively in a team, balancing independent work and collaboration.
- Write and execute unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Perform API integration testing.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to build and deploy applications
- Maintain high level of quality maturity in quality gates in CICD pipeline
- Implements security best practices (input validation, authentication, authorization, OWASP guidelines).
- Deploy applications on Azure Cloud using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments
- Demonstrate critical thinking, questioning assumptions and processes in a constructive way.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 3.5+ years of strong working experience of core technical discipline in Java, Springboot, RDBMS, NoSQL
- Strong experience in common software design patterns e.g Adapter, Strategy, Template Method
- Strong experience in Design, Build and Consume APIs efficiently
- Good experience in using AI assisted tools in SDLC
- Experience in best practices in code execution i.e memory footprint, GC and database queries i.e explain plan, statistics
- Hands-on Experience in messaging, queuing
- Proficiency in Junit for testing.
- Experience with API integration testing using Postman.
- Experience in quality gates, security tools integration in CI/CD processes.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Azure Cloud services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
