Duties

- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical issues within automotive electrical systems and wiring harnesses.
- Conduct repairs on powertrain components such as transmissions, differentials, and drive shafts to restore vehicle functionality.
- Execute alignment procedures using specialized equipment to ensure precise wheel positioning and vehicle handling.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques safely to complete mechanical repairs efficiently.
- Maintain detailed service records, document repair procedures accurately, and communicate findings clearly to customers and team members.
Experience
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive engine systems, including both gasoline and diesel engines.
- Skilled in automotive electrical system diagnosis and repair, including interpreting wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Nissan vehicles or similar brands is a plus; experience with auto body repair is advantageous.
- Demonstrated ability to use schematics for complex diagnostics and repairs effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and alignment machinery.
