Summary:
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting warehouse operations, including shipping finished goods, inspecting products and materials for quality, and managing inventory through the SAP system. This second-shift role (Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM) requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, meeting customer requirements, and adhering to quality, safety, and company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out shipping functions for finished goods and miscellaneous items in accordance with the SAP inventory management system.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or shortages to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
- Start up and shut down equipment and machinery, and adjust settings as required.
- Inspect products and materials to assure level of quality.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SAP-related issues.
- Satisfactorily meet customer requirements.
- Notify the Team Leader of any abnormalities in product or machinery promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards.
- Complete other duties as assigned by management or the Team Leader.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures which include IATF, ISO, ISMS, TISAX, and Safety related policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong problem identification and resolution skills.
- Basic organization, planning, and administration skills.
- Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Strong recordkeeping abilities.
- Effective time management skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and exhibit professionalism in high-pressure situations.
- Able to adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be flexible to work overtime, often with short notice, and to adapt to shift work.
- Vocational or technical certification preferred.
- Previous inventory experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Able to see and hear (correctable).
- Able to communicate verbally.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Able to lift 51-75 lbs. with assistance.
- Able to walk, stand, or sit for extended periods of time and perform repetitive motions.
- Able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
