About NurseAmerica, Inc.
Description
RN Manager
Company: NurseAmerica
Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid / Office-based)
Role Type: Full-Time, Salaried (Internal Management)
Compensation: $85,000 / year + Comprehensive Benefits
Why NurseAmerica?
We aren't just a staffing agency; we are a strategic partner to medical facilities in the US. This role offers you a unique, highly respected seat at the management table where your clinical voice directly impacts how healthcare is delivered and supported across our communities.
Step Off the Floor and Into Leadership
Are you an experienced RN ready to leverage your clinical expertise to shape the future of healthcare staffing?
At NurseAmerica, we are expanding our corporate team. We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking Registered Nurse (RN) to join our internal management team as an RN Manager. In this dual clinical-business role, you will step away from direct bedside care to help lead, scale, and ensure the clinical excellence of our rapidly growing healthcare staffing organization.
If you have a strong background in Med-Surg or Long-Term Care (LTC) and want to transition your skills into corporate management, compliance, and business strategy, this is your next career chapter.
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our internal leadership team, you will bridge the gap between clinical quality and corporate growth. Your day-to-day will involve:
- Clinical Vetting & Recruitment Support: Partner closely with our internal HR and recruiting teams to ensure we are interviewing, vetting, and hiring the most skilled, qualified, and compliant nursing candidates.
- Business Development Collaboration: Utilize your real-world clinical knowledge to understand the unique staffing pain points of our client facilities, supporting our business development team in building strong, clinical-first partnerships.
- Education & Compliance Oversight: Manage, develop, and support internal education initiatives, onboarding programs, and state/federal clinical compliance programs.
- Strategic Management: Actively participate in leadership meetings to help steer the company’s growth, optimize clinical policies, and shape the overall strategic direction of NurseAmerica.
Qualifications & Requirements
We are looking for a clinical professional who understands the realities of the floor but possesses the drive to lead from the office.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Virginia (or compact equivalent).
- Clinical Background: Strong experience working in General Med-Surg or Nursing Home / Long-Term Care (LTC) environments.
- Leadership Experience: Prior supervisory, charge nurse, or nurse management experience is highly preferred.
- Skills & Mindset:
- A strong interest in the business side of healthcare and staffing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with corporate clients, HR professionals, and field staff.
- Self-motivated, organized, and ready to take ownership of compliance and clinical quality.
What We Offer
At NurseAmerica, we believe in taking care of our internal team just as well as we take care of our field staff.
- Salary: $85,000 base annual salary.
- Health Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance packages.
- Retirement: 401(k) program with competitive company matching.
- Work-Life Balance: Generous paid vacation and paid time off (PTO) policy.
- Professional Growth: Direct mentorship from our executive team and a clear pathway to senior leadership within a fast-growing company.
Salary
$80,000 - $85,000 per year
