Job Description:
Position Summary, Facility HVAC Technician (Night)
As a Facility HVAC Technician, you'll maintain and troubleshoot critical systems supporting cleanroom and office operations. You'll perform preventive maintenance, respond to alarms, and ensure reliable equipment performance while working independently and following safety protocols.
This position will primarily be assigned to the night shift with 12-hour shifts (7:00pm-7:30am). Assigned evenings will be for the N2 shift working Wednesday- Friday and every other Saturday.
Key Responsibilities
- HVAC and Mechanical operations and maintenance of heating, ventilating, air conditioning, exhaust, and mechanical systems supporting cleanroom and office operations.
- Preventive maintenance; lock-out tag-out protocol.
- Inventory and facility operating system document control.
- Monitoring and responding to all facility reporting alarms & controls
- System balancing.
- Operation and maintenance of boilers, chillers, compressors, pumps, air handling units, etc.
- Understanding all related disciplines such as process, waste and water treatment, building automation.
- Attention to customer satisfaction and support.
- Must conduct work in an independent manner.
- There will be opportunities for overtime hours.
- Other reasonable duties assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications, Facility HVAC Technician
- The position requires EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification AND a technical trade degree with 5 years of related mechanical work experience OR a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 8 years of Mechanical/HVAC experience in a facility operations or construction environment.
- Must have the ability to pass a physical exam and fit test to earn and maintain membership and certification in the Emergency Response Team.
- Must have the ability to provide off-shift coverage.
- Good communications skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office and computer maintenance management programs are also required.
This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.
Preferred Qualifications, Facility HVAC Technician
- Experience with the installation and operation of integrated Building Management Systems (Siemens, Honeywell) and PLC's

Salary Range:
Tech Level 1-3 Years of experience 1 - 8 years = $27.00 - $37.00
Tech Level 3 - 5 Years of experience 6 - 20 years = $36.00 - $50.00
- Night Sight receives a shift differential of 15% from 7:00pm-7:30am, must work a minimum of 4 hours to receive shift differential.
- Posted salary rates are determined upon experience and education
