JOB SUMMARY:
The Driver’s main priority is to transport Ohio Machinery's general construction equipment to and from customers and/or other locations via tractor-trailer. As a team member of the rental department, the Driver will ensure the completion of Rental agreements and inspect the equipment before delivery and upon return.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Must have a clean driving record, less than 4 points, a Class A CDL License, and a current Medical Certification Card.
- Prior experience as a truck driver is required.
- A strong working knowledge of all rental equipment is preferred.
- Must be able to remain professional with language and tone and demonstrate high levels of customer service to both internal and external customers.
- The driver should be open-minded, focused on customer needs, cooperative, able to work with a team, and flexible.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The functions of the position require lifting, carrying, and pulling up to 50 pounds. Standing and sitting up, moving up and down stairs, and climbing on and off delivery vehicles and into machines will be required. The functions of the position require normal dexterity and repetitive, as well as frequent, movements that involve the hands, wrists, and fingers. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
