RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with relationship development with target providers and their office staff, earning the business of providers so that Ohio Valley Surgical Hospital (OVSH) and Ohio Valley Medical Group (OVMG) becomes their first choice for provider partnerships.
- Research, quantify, and prioritize target strategic primary and secondary market opportunities, both in terms of market growth and revenue / profitability. Develop strategies to grow market share and market reach and measure success of targets.
- Assists with the process and methods for sales and referral activities to achieve volume / revenue goals for OVSH and OVMG, including outreach.
- Develop and execute plans to create media opportunities that generate awareness for the organizational and event-driven initiatives of OVSH.
- Works with the leadership team to form an annual marketing plan.
- Assists with internal communications with both staff and providers.
- Provides direction, priority, and support for community outreach efforts by overseeing and /or attending and overseeing selective community events and health fairs.
- Oversite of graphic design for brochures, ads, script pads, giveaways, flyers, social media, website, and other community education and promotional materials.
- Assists in tracking results of marketing campaigns and outreach.
- Meets on a regular basis with leadership and providers to maintain open lines of communication.
- Oversees the company's interactions with the public on social media. Creates and implements content strategies, analyzes engagement data, and plan digital campaigns.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- BA / BS in Marketing or related field.
- Three (3) to five (5) years Marketing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Detail-oriented, focused, and driven to operate independently.
- Ability to learn quickly within a highly service-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High level of competency with computer software such as MS Office, Photoshop, InDesign or equivalency is required.
- Ability to successfully communicate with various types of professions.
- Availability to attend evening and weekend events and meetings.
- Ability to create graphs, charts, PowerPoint presentations from data (Excel), Canva.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and auto insurance to meet Ohio Valley’s policies.
- Preferred knowledge of medical field.
