- Strategic Fundraising and Donor Engagement:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive resource development strategy aligned with Orchard Place's strategic plan and organizational priorities.
- Lead all fundraising initiatives, including individual giving, major gifts, annual campaigns, capital campaigns, planned giving, corporate sponsorships, grants, foundation support, endowments, and special events.
- Cultivate, solicit, steward, and strengthen relationships with individual donors, corporations, foundations, community organizations, and philanthropic partners to maximize engagement and financial support.
- Oversee donor engagement strategies that foster meaningful connections, long-term donor retention, and increased philanthropic investment in Orchard Place.
- Identify, develop, and secure funding opportunities through donations, sponsorships, grants, planned giving vehicles, and other innovative fundraising efforts.
- Partner with executive leadership, board members, and community ambassadors to advance fundraising goals and expand Orchard Place's donor network.
- Oversee donor communications, stewardship activities, recognition programs, impact reporting, and fundraising events while evaluating effectiveness and return on investment.
- Leadership and Collaboration:
- Serve as an active member of the Executive Leadership Team, contributing to organizational strategy, long-term planning, and agency-wide decision-making.
- Partner with the CEO, Board of Directors, Foundation Board, and senior leadership to advance Orchard Place's mission, visibility, and sustainability.
- Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and professional development to the Marketing and Development team.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and donor-centered engagement across the organization:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging, brand alignment, and compelling storytelling across all platforms and audiences.
- Marketing, Communications, and Community Engagement:
- Provide strategic oversight for all external marketing, communications, and public relations initiatives.
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and communications strategies that strengthen Orchard Place's brand awareness, reputation, and community engagement.
- Oversee organizational communications including annual reports, impact reports, donor communications, newsletters, media relations, website content, social media platforms, digital marketing campaigns, and public-facing materials.
- Ensure consistent branding, messaging, and visual identity across all communications channels and stakeholder groups.
- Develop and implement communication strategies that effectively communicate organizational impact, fundraising priorities, program outcomes, and community partnerships.
- Serve as a spokesperson and ambassador for Orchard Place as appropriate, strengthening relationships with community leaders, partners, donors, and media representatives.
- Special Events and Volunteer Engagement:
- Provide strategic oversight for planning and execution of fundraising events, community engagement initiatives, and sponsorship programs.
- Ensure special events align with organizational goals, donor engagement strategies, and revenue targets.
- Oversee volunteer engagement efforts, including recruitment, retention, recognition, and integration into organizational activities and events.
- Grant Development and Planned Giving:
- Oversee the development, submission, and stewardship of grant proposals and funding opportunities.
- Ensure effective management and reporting of grant-funded initiatives.
- Expand and strengthen Orchard Place's planned giving program through donor education, cultivation, and stewardship strategies.
- Data-Driven Strategy and Operational Excellence:
- Utilize fundraising, donor, and marketing analytics to evaluate effectiveness, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Ensure accurate donor records, contribution tracking, reporting, and compliance with applicable fundraising and nonprofit regulations.
- Develop performance metrics and dashboards to monitor fundraising, marketing, communications, and donor engagement outcomes.
- Other Duties:
- Support internal fundraising initiatives, employee engagement activities, and organizational events as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
