Are you an experienced Therapy Lead who enjoys developing people, improving clinic performance, and providing exceptional patient care? We are seeking a motivated Therapy Lead to help guide the daily operations of our growing outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Aurora, Colorado.
This Therapy Lead position is ideal for a licensed Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist who wants to expand into leadership while continuing to treat patients. As a Therapy Lead, you will partner closely with regional leadership to create an outstanding experience for patients, physicians, and staff while helping the clinic achieve operational and financial success.

What You'll Do
Clinic Leadership & Operations
- Direct the day-to-day operations of the outpatient therapy clinic.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-centered culture.
- Monitor clinic workflow, staffing levels, and scheduling to maximize efficiency.
- Partner with leadership to evaluate clinic performance, key performance indicators, referral trends, productivity, and operational goals.
- Assist with facility organization, equipment oversight, inventory management, and general clinic administration.
- Balance direct patient care responsibilities with leadership duties.
Team Development
- Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, orientation, and mentoring of new team members.
- Provide coaching and ongoing performance feedback to therapists and support staff.
- Assist with employee development, performance improvement initiatives, and corrective action when appropriate.
- Help coordinate staff schedules, PTO requests, and coverage for planned and unexpected absences.
- Encourage professional growth and continuing education opportunities throughout the clinic.
Financial & Operational Performance
- Help improve clinic efficiency while maintaining outstanding patient outcomes.
- Ensure accurate documentation, billing, insurance authorizations, collections, and compliance with payer requirements.
- Assist with claim denials, documentation audits, and operational improvement projects.
- Monitor processes that support financial health and excellent patient service.
Compliance & Quality
- Maintain compliance with state regulations, Medicare requirements, and organizational policies.
- Verify staff licensure, credentialing, certifications, and required training remain current.
- Promote high standards of clinical documentation and quality care.
- Participate in annual compliance education and quality improvement initiatives.
Referral Growth & Community Relationships
- Build strong relationships with physicians, referral sources, and community partners.
- Support marketing initiatives, networking events, career fairs, and physician outreach.
- Assist in resolving patient concerns and physician questions with professionalism and urgency.
- Coordinate physician observation opportunities and support community engagement efforts.
Leadership Participation
- Participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual leadership meetings.
- Contribute ideas that improve patient experience, operational performance, and employee engagement.
- Support company-wide initiatives, process improvements, and strategic projects.
Qualifications
- Current license as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous outpatient orthopedic or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate teams while maintaining high clinical standards
- Comfortable balancing patient care with leadership responsibilities
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient outcomes and customer service
