Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator supports and facilitates HR operations across all OrthoSC locations. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented and people-focused. The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, employee programs, and HR systems while serving as a trusted point of contact for team members.
What You’ll Do

Serve as a first point of contact for team members with HR-related questions.

Coordinate recruitment activities, interviews, background checks, and onboarding.

Maintain accurate employee records, I-9 documentation, and HRIS data.
-
Assist with payroll, benefits, and compliance audits.

Support employee terminations and performance review processes.
-
Assist with updating HR policies and maintaining the Team Member Handbook.
-
Coordinate and manage OrthoSC’s student programs (internships, externships, mentoring).
-
Act as liaison for workers’ compensation reporting and documentation.
-
Ensure compliance posters and reporting requirements are current.
-
Support new hire orientation and recruitment events.
-
Perform additional HR projects and duties as assigned.
What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 2 years of HR-related experience.

Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS platforms (UKG Ready experience a plus)
